Turn Up the Heat!

MAKEUP FOR THE HEAT!

Spring is finally here, and the last couple of days I have been on several shoots. It’s funny, but there are a few questions I keep getting asked! The most frequent ones are, “Due to the HOT CALIFORNIA WEATHER", what stylish look can I wear in the heat?! I want to accent my eyes without wearing a lot of makeup because it’s too HOT, any suggestions?! What’s a good makeup for the "NO MAKEUP" look?!”

No worries ladies! I can relate to both the East and West Coast. Originally from Miami, FL where the humidity, heat and rain at times can be unbearable, to LA, where you have the dessert, dry and sunny California environment. I am about to answer all of your questions!
So... here are some easy “To Do” makeup’s looks that are off, as well as on, the Fashion Runways! That you can try at home and will not be melting off in the SPRING HEAT!

To achieve most of these looks:
First, use Powder or Tinted Moisturizers, depending on the humidity in your city. Next, apply a good coat of Mascara on your top lashes by itself…and for a more dramatic effect, try putting a coat on the bottom as well. Last a neutral/natural lip color of your choice…Lip Pencil, Stick or Gloss will do!

For those of you who may want to “step it up a notch”, and need/want to add a little color and spice! Use the above look as a base, then take the next step, and add some color with eye shadow. Now’s the time to try a spring color such as pink, lavender or teal! For some inspiration, take a look!!
