Samelia’s Favorites for the Spring Beauty 2011

Many of you have started asking me what makeup looks you should wear for spring. As I told you last spring, I am a huge fan of natural-looking self–tanner and bronzer. There is nothing better then keeping a healthy glow without having to damage your skin by baking in the sun, although I know some of you will go in the sun away!

If you absolutely must catch some rays, I suggest going out in the sun for 14 minutes -- seven minutes per front and back side -- one to two times per week until you achieve the results you like. Remember, 14 minutes is just my suggestion, so if your body overheats or you feel like 14 minutes is too long, stick with what works best for you.

I am so excited for this Spring's bold eye shadow and lip colors, which can be warn with virtually any of Spring's fashion trends. If you want to keep it understated, choose a hot coral lip with a hint of fuchsia eye shadow, finished with lots of black mascara. If that is still too bold for you, stick with just shadow and black mascara or just the coral lip. A red-coral, fuchsia or classic red is also on trend.

PART 2: Weathered!!!

OMG... SO COLDDDD!!!

With next travel approaching I’d like to take a moment and talk EVERYDAY BASIS…

I notice that everyday I use 4 different creams or lotions. Ridiculous!!!

Facial moisturizer being 1st, under eye serum/cream in a close 2nd, with my basic body lotion being 3rd, we must not forget the in one combination hand & foot cream! There is nothing worse than traveling to various cities with extreme weather conditions, and you have “NO” lotion or cream…YIKES!

A predicament many are faced with going to unknown territory is…”What to pack, how many ounces is this, and do you think they will let me pass with this”?

Sadly enough, I am always stripped of my hand & foot cream in my purse, as the size is too big… Forced to condense my facial moisturizer and body lotion into smaller size containers. Thinking… “I can possibly live without my under eye serum/cream for a couple of days… Making me downsize to 2 CREAMS!

How does one severe with only 2 creams I thought?
As I was faced with cold record breaking tempters in the east and hot dry air in the west coast… I severed and was able to keep my skin looking great! AND YOU CAN ALSO...

You just have to find the best of the two!!! Here are a couple great facial moisturizers & body lotions options for travel!!!

OMG! HOW IS EVERYBODY OUT THERE IN BLOG WORLD? LET'S CATCH UP...

After close evaluation of my 2010 holiday travel season, I have come to a few conclusions…

To start, I have a new found respect for flight attendants! How do they keep their skin in reasonable shape? We would need to ask an actual flight attendant how he or she maintains the largest organ in the human body the “epidermis” of course... Because I am starting to fly so frequently that the airlines should pay “Yours Truly” to fly. Lol!

Which brings me to my “POINT”… How does one decide what to bring in order to maintain flawless skin? Hmmm… As we all know toiletries are the last things allowed on a flight (depending on the size)!

After the wear and tear of traveling I MUST RECOMMEND “FACIAL MOISTURIZER”, to stay at the #1 spot on the travel chart!
Well, I need to prepare for this next journey and can not wait to share with you my number “2” item on the chart!

In the mean time…take a look at how windburn; wet, dry and cold weather harshly effect skin!!!
