Chopper Young City!!!

Over the last several years, the city of New Orleans has experienced joy and pain. Once known for being an epicenter of delicious cuisine, the birthplace of jazz, and Mardi Gras capitol, the city is more recently recognized for the devastation it experienced during hurricane Katrina and this year's New Orlean Saints Super Bowl win.

New Orleans is the birthplace of several celebrity powerhouses, including Ellen DeGeneres, Tyler Perry, Reese Witherspoon, Bryant Gumbel, Birdman aka Baby (Bryan Williams), Lil Wayne, Eli and Peyton Manning, and many more.

I recently got the opportunity to work with one of the city's newest talent exports, director Charley Mac on the video for Chopper Young City’s song "I Don't Know," for his new album. Mac and Chopper made the lovely yours truly; hair diva Neicy Small, and our amazing crew feel like we were in New Orleans with their southern hospitality…

Only thing missing was a big pot of gumbo or crawfish… Yum!

A true New Orleans "Saint" and a passionate artist, Charley Mac is sure to take the industry by storm! His ideas and creativity are incredible...

As all of you know, I've been working like crazy lately, and I'm so excited to share my wonderful experiences with you now.

In my line of work, I get the opportunity to work with some incredibly inspiring and creative artists on a daily basis. With that said, I'd like to introduce Adam Hendershott, a photographer I've had the pleasure of working with recently
Hendershott got his start assisting David La Chapelle, Meeno Peluce, and Miguel Starcevich, all of whom encouraged him to be fearless and unapologetic in his photography work. Now with six years of experience under his belt, Hendershott remains humble. “It’s always great to surround yourself by people who are living the dream!” he told me.

Continuing to push himself and his career to greatness, Hendershott shoots celebrities like Kanye West and for magazines including Rime and San Diego. At the same time, he is also working to establish himself in the fashion and beauty industries. I had the great opportunity to work with him on the artist/singer Briana Lane, and it was a truly memorable experience.
